CRIME REPORT AUGUST 2008

PBO Steve Rhodes comments that over the past couple of weeks there have been several houses broken into, car keys stolen and the car on the driveway driven off. Please try not to leave your keys in an obvious place.
Also, several cycles have been stolen that were left out in the open.

BURGLARY

Sat 2nd/3rd-Church St.-House window forced, entry gained and cash stolen.

BURGLARY-OTHER

Fri. 1st-Cossington Lane-Garage broken into and power tools stolen.
Thurs 7th/8th-Town Green Street-Shed broken into and cycles stolen.
Fri 22nd-Fowke Street-Empty premises broken into and stock damaged.

DAMAGE

Fri 1st-Mountsorrel Lane-Recycling bin set on fire.
Sat 9th-Woodfield Road-House window smashed.
Sat 9th-Woodfield Road-House window smashed.
Wed 13th/14th-Town Green Street-House flooded.
Tues 19th-Swithland Lane-House furniture damaged.
Wed 20th-Fowke Street-Security light smashed.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Sat 9th-Grangefields Drive-Car broken into, sat nav and stereo stolen.
Thurs 21st/23rd-Walkers Lane-Car broken into and cd's stolen.

THEFT

Sat 2nd-Macaulay Road-2 cycles stolen from rear of garden.
Wed 13th-Whatton Oaks-Cycle stolen from front garden.
