CRIME REPORT JULY 2008

Over the past couple of weeks there have been several people arrested for various crimes in Rothley. One man was arrested fro breaking into the Old Crown Inn on North Street after a phone call to the Police from a Rothley resident. Two males were also arrested for breaking into cars in Rothley and Mountsorrel. A further male was arrested for committing damage in Rothley.

BURGLARY

15th July-The Ridings-House broken into and items stolen.
29th July-Pott Acre-House broken into between 1pm-8pm and items stolen.

BURGLARY OTHER

4th/5th July-Woodgate-Cottage under renovation entered and items stolen.
8th July-Woodgate-Unsuccessful attempt to enter cottage under renovation.
13th July-North Street-Public House broken into but nothing stolen.
24th July-Swithland Lane-Brick railway shed broken into.

DAMAGE

5th July-Mountsorrel Lane-Plant pot smashed.
5th July-Mountsorrel Lane-Door damaged.
7th July-Swithland Lane-Door damaged.
20th/21st July-Fowke Street-Park bench destroyed.
27th/29th July-Fowke Street-Windows on property smashed.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

21st/22nd July-Westfield Lane-Car broken into and sat nav stolen.

2nd July-Mountsorrel Lane-Trailer stolen from side of house.
9th July-Mountsorrel Lane-House keys stolen from front door.
11th July-Woodgate-Boxes of wine stolen from shop.
18th July-Loughborough Road Cars-Catalytic converter stolen from garden.
