The Parish Church of St. Mary and St. John is in a tranquil setting in the heart of old Rothley. Approached by road from Church Street or School Street or by a lovely footpath from Hallfields Lane.

Approach from Church Street with its attractive houses.

I am watching you as you enter the church.

Look to the left of the door and you will see who is watching you.

When you approach the church from Church Street take time to look at the inscription on the gates.

If you study these gates you will see how lovely they are.

As you leave the church towards School Street look up to the beam of the porch.
