POINTS REWARD

Telephone scam.
Caller tells you that you have been awarded points and a reward can be claimed if you press '0' on your telephone keypad.

The householder immediately put the phone down and informed me of the call. He knew that it was a scam as he did not have anything with points accumulating.
The householder is also a member of an active Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in Rothley and was aware of scams.
