STOCKING CLOSE SPINNEY

This spinney is covered by a Group Tree Preservation Order. It is privately owned and there is no public access.

In August 1988 a survey was carried out by P.A.Evans and the following species noted:

Quercus robur-Oak
Fraxinus exelsior-Common ash
Crataegus monogyna-Hawthorn
Sambucus niger-Elder
Hedera helix-Ivy
Brachypodium sylvaticum-
A Tawny Owl was also seen.
