» RothleyTREE PLANTING IN ROTHLEYMany trees have been planted in Rothley over the past few years, many in gardens or on roadside verges, private drives and commemorative trees and woods. Some trees are lost to the weather, disease, obstruction, damage and visual reasons. All trees must be checked to see they they are subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or in a Conservation Area. Charnwood Borough Council deals with these enquiries. All trees that are removed must be replaced if they are subject to a TPO. Rothley has many beautiful trees and wherever you stand in the village you see this lovely backdrop of colour and form. Imagine a village or built area without trees and you will see what we have to treasure in Rothley. This is a record of recent planting in the village. If you would like to have any newly planted trees recorded or know of any then please contact the Site Editor on the Home Page. Last Updated Sun, 20 Jan, 2008. |
