This lists the records of christenings[C], marriages[M] and burials[B] which took place at Saltby parish church and which can be found at the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. The dates for which banns are held are shown in brackets after the marriage dates. Bishop's Transcripts [BTs] are contemporary copies which are also shown. It also provides information about burials and cremations outside the parish church.

The churchyard at Saltby is still open but provision has been made for the future in a civic burial ground at Sproxton Road, Stonesby.
Records from 1962 onwards are available ob request from the Parish Clerk at Sproxton.
Cremations mainly take place at the Grantham Crematorium, Harrowby Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG31 9DT. However some people do choose Loughborough. Loughborough Crematorium is on Leicester Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 2AF. Records are available by request from the Cemetery Officer, Charnwood Borough Council, Southfields, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 2NT.
