The Historical and Archaeological Society of Seagrave

The Historical and Archaeological Society of Seagrave meets regularly, usually on the 4th Monday of the Month at Seagrave Memorial Hall, Green Lane, Seagrave Leicestershire

Members of all age groups are welcome including children. Children are asked to be capable of sitting and listening to lectures if they wish to attend, but throughout the year there will also be events particularly suitable for children which will have practical hands on elements. As the society is not registered for child care a responsible adult must accompany all children who attend meetings.

Members are encouraged to discuss their ongoing projects at Members project evenings and can also ask for ideas and help for planned projects: newcomers to the disciplines are welcome, do not be afraid to ask !

Please contact us if you would like to give a talk or demonstration or lead a practical class.

Membership fees are £5 per person per year, capped to £10 per family living in the same house.

Meetings are charged at £1.50 for members, £2.50 for non members, accompanied children are free.

Fees cover hall costs and speakers who charge a fee; the society is a not-for-profit organisation
