Sell items on the noticeboard

Noticeboard section

The noticeboard is effectively the classified ads section. It can contain items for sale, or you can celebrate someone’s special birthday. We’ve even had details of lost cats added to the noticeboard. It is also available for businesses to advertise local job vacancies.

As always, there is no charge for any of the services on the site.

The discussion forums are available for people to talk about any issues in their community: anything from family history queries to complaining about the traffic through your village. You can view the village forum or you can pose a question to the Record Office in the history forum.

Have your own web page on the village site

You can have your own page on the village site. It could be to document the history of the village, create a virtual tour of the community or have a page for a local community group.

To do this all you need to do is to get in touch with us (admin@leicestershirevillages.com or call 0116 3055676) to ask for extra editing rights. Have a look at the summary of user levels to give you an idea of the different user levels on the site.
