Click on the heading for the Battle of Britain Diary 70 years ago today.
It was on the 7th September 1940 that the Luftwaffe switched the emphasis of bombing from RAF airfields to bombing Cities with several raids on London.
The 7th September 1940 was the start of 'The Blitz'

Chef of Distinction, David Cordy invites you to a 6 course Fine Dining Experience taking place at "The Belper Arms", Newton Burgoland on Friday 10th September 2010.
