Stoughton Parish Plan

Welcome to "The Stoughton Parish Plan Questionnaire". This is a unique opportunity for you and your neighbours to say how you would like Stoughton to look in the years to come and how we can plan for the future.

The aim of the Parish Plan is to identify the future needs, deficiencies and to work with Harborough District Council and other service providers to make the most of what villagers enjoy about living in a rural community. It is therefore vital that you complete the questionnaire (or at the very least the first 19 questions) and not discard it or throw it in the bin!

Your answers will then be analysed and will help to produce a Parish Plan that includes a section on design and the use of buildings and land in Stoughton. It is anticipated that Harborough District Council will adopt this section as Supplementary Planning Guidance. This means that the section will be taken into account when the Council considers planning applications for the village and the surrounding area. So it is an opportunity to have a real say in the future of Stoughton.
