SYSTON is a thriving community in the North East of Leicestershire

First mentioned in the Domesday survey of 1086, when it was known as Sitestone, it is situated about six miles north of Leicester and lies on the famous Fosseway.

It was granted town status in 1987. It has a wealth of choice for shoppers, with many chain stores, independent retailers and a thriving modern shopping centre. There is also ample car parking available around the town.

There is also a wide variety of places to eat, from restaurants and cafes to public houses and takeaways. It is possible to enjoy not only British, but Chinese, Indian, and Turkish cuisine in the town.
