Best Library Staff Member 2008

Libraries have had a big role again in helping Leicestershire Villages to develop this year and this award is for the member of staff that has been most effective in developing interest in the website in their area.

Bharti (pictured left) and Darshna (right) won this award for the work that they have put into encouraging people in their communtiy to get involved with their village site. They have both been very supportive of Barbara Sheppard in helping her to publish her stories for her grandchildren on the site. They have also been very active in using the site to promote library activities as well.
