The Society was established in 1998, effectively re-forming a previous society. Under the chairmanship of the late Ronald Banks, TLHS thrived, with some forty members enjoying both social events and serious recording of the history of our village. Highlights of our last ten years include the organisation of a millennium festival in 2000, and the publication of a book , “Thrussington; A Village Story”.

Now under the chairmanship of Mike Harrison, the Society continues to thrive, but new members, contributions to our archives, and family history enquiries are always welcome.
