TABS Annual Walk 08 07 07
The sun shone bright and warm throughout the afternoon of the walk which took a group of nine 'stalwarts' across the fields skirting Evington and Houghton. The walk was ably led by Hugh Woolley who guided us back to the Rose and Crown,Thurnby, our starting point, by 4.45pm. By the time everyone was back home the heavens opened and thunder,lightning and heavy rain swept the area so we were extremely lucky to find the one moment of opportunity to stretch our legs.
