The Rose and Crown Pub, Main Street, Thurnby (part of the Everard's Brewery chain (est. 1849) was almost completely destroyed by fire during the night of the 30th November 2004

The Rose and Crown after being rebuilt

Following the fire an extensive rebuilding programme was carried out. The pub was officially re-opened by Mr. Richard Everard on the 6th December 2005

This is a pen and ink drawing of the Rose and Crown circa 1938. The accompanying note said "Dad did this pen and ink / circa 1938! It shows a tiled roof! Is/was this part of the R and C? Colin
