Bell ringing group in front of St Peters Church

The Tilton Bell ringers are a self taught group practicing on Thursday nights between 7pm and 8pm at St Peters Church. They ring for their own enjoyment, for the family service once a month and on request for funerals or weddings.

St Peters Church is unusual in having five bells; most British towers having only four, and the heaviest of these, the tenor, weighs nine and a half hundred weight.
