The Plan for Ullesthorpe 2009 - 2014 was published in February 2009.

It is the culmination of a community-wide consultation process that started with an initial questionnaire to all village residents in September 2007.

The issues raised in that exercise were explored in more depth at a follow-up 'Ullesthorpe Past, Present and Future' event held in the village hall in March 2008. Further enquiries into some of the matters raised took place later in that year until the final plan was drawn up in November 2008.

Formal consultations took place during December with the following bodies:

Leicestershire County Council
Leicestershire Constabulary
NHS Leicestershire and Rutland
Voluntary Action South Leicestershire
Leicestershire Rural Housing Enabler
District and County Councillor Rosita Page

The Plan was officially handed over to Ullesthorpe Parish Council at its launch on Sunday 8th February 2009 at the village hall.

Progress against the Plan will monitored on a regular basis by Ullesthorpe Parish Plan Steering Committee in conjunction with the Parish, District and County Councils.

A Plan for Ullesthorpe 2009 to 2014 - Final Summary Flyer

Following the formal launch of the Plan on 8th February 2009, a Summary Flyer outlining the key aspects of the full document was distributed to every household in the Parish.

Action Plan - Progress Update

Ullesthorpe Parish Plan Steering Committee have agreed to continue to meet regularly with the Parish Council to review progress on the various actions identified in the Village Plan's Action Plan.
