Local author Josephine came and told us a story about a boy named Daniel who discovers a Genie named 'Lestaar' in an old teapot. Leestar granted Daniel 3 wishes, and we then tried to decide what sort of things we might wish for... Here are some of our wishes...

a hamster...a car... a dog... chickens in the back garden... a swimming pool in the back garden... a ginormous house so to run about in... a passport to go skiing, or to Spain or Cyprus... a new bike with a trailer... cake... for everyone to be my friend... a cob fish... for all my family and friends to be happy... a cure for terminal diseases ... to be the best footballer in the world ...chocolate ...to play for Liverpool football club... to have lots of money for a holiday in Miami... a bigger garden... roller skates ...the world ...a cat ...for everyone to like me... to have a party every day... to play for Manchester United
