Severn Trent Water will be carrying out some construction work at Annwell Place Sewage Treatment Works, which is accessed from Burton Road.

The main work is due to commence on 14th May 2012 and be completed by November 2012.

A new sewage pumping station and 1km pipeline will be constructed at Annwell Place to convey sewage for treatment to a larger sewage works at Packington. The pipeline will be laid in the fields adjacent to Burton Road for most of its length. However where the pipe terminates a connection will be necessary to a manhole in the highway, additionally it is envisaged a bus stop will have to be temporarily relocated while the connection is made.

The Rural Services Network is undertaking its second survey into the views and experiences of rural people in England. Last year as part of the Rural Insight Survey it generated over 1300 responses. The results of the survey can be viewed at www.ruralinsight.org.uk. We do hope you will assist us with the development of this survey which will provide a really important data source.
