Welcome to Woodhouse
Woodhouse is essentially a quiet but pretty rural village situated a few miles south of Loughborough. The village is relatively small with only about 130 homes and 430 residents identified at the last census. It has no shops, pubs or restaurants and little or no industry. However, it has close links with its larger neighbour Woodhouse Eaves with which it forms the Parish of Woodhouse.

The number of people in Leicestershire who feel that their police do an excellent or good job is good compared to the national average.
The results of the British Crime Survey (BCS), which were issued today (Thursday 17 July, 2008), revealed that Leicestershire has the highest number of people rating their local policing performance as excellent or good compared with other forces in the East Midlands region.
