A series of Village Heritage Trails are being developed through Woodhouse Eaves and the surrounding countryside.
The proposed routes are shown in the map below.
There are a number of possible trails in and around Woodhouse Eaves ranging from about 2 to 6 miles. All the walks are circular and start and finish at the car park next to the Village hall in Woodhouse Eaves

- Woodhouse Eaves Village via Broombriggs Farm
This 1.5 mile walk goes around Woodhouse Eaves Village and through Broombriggs Farm and is shown in red on the map.
- Woodhouse Eaves Village and Windmill Hill
This walk starts in Woodhouse Eaves and takes in Windmill Mill. It is shown in red and orange on the map and is about 2 miles long.
- Woodhouse Eaves Village and Broombriggs Farm
This walk starts in Woodhouse Eaves village and then goes around Broombriggs Farm.
The Trails are shown in red and blue on the map and are about 3.5 miles long - Woodhouse Eaves Village and Beacon Hill Country Park
Walk around Woodhouse Eaves village and Beacon Hill Country Park. The red and green trails are about 4 miles long
- Woodhouse Eaves Village, Broombriggs Farm, Windmill Hill and Beacon Hill Country Park
This trail includes Woodhouse Eaves Village, Broombriggs Farm, Windmill Hill and Beacon Hill Country Park. The red, green and blue trails are about 6 miles in total.
Permission is being sought to extend the proposed Heritage Trail into Broombriggs Farm, Windmill Hill and Beacon Hill Country Park.
